Eileen Migliaccio, Owner/Director & Instructor
Miss Eileen has lived in Salem County for her entire life. She is the youngest of six children and her parents are Peter Migliaccio and the late Dorothy F. Migliaccio. She opened Salem County Dance and Cheer in June 2001 in Salem, and relocated the business to a much larger location (the Dunn Building) at 168 East Broadway in July 2005. She is currently in her 7th year of business and loves her job.
Miss Eileen has taught dance, cheer, and gymnastics in Salem County for nearly 20 years.
She is well-known as an instructor in Salem County through Salem Community College, John B. Campbell Center, Woodstown Pirates Inc., Academy of Performing Arts, and Beverly’s Academy of Performing Arts. She is a member of St. Mary’s parish, attended <>St. Mary Regional elementary school and graduated from St. James high school. She holds academic degrees from Salem Community College, and Wilmington College.
Miss Eileen has danced and cheered since she was 7 years old (for a long time now)! She has trained with many schools in the New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania area. She stays current and up to date through dance workshops and training seminars, in addition to every day in the studio. Her greatest lessons are taught by her students. She is active in her community at all levels, including Meals on Wheels of Salem County, the Salem County Chamber of Commerce, and the March of Dimes
Miss Monika lives in Pennsville with her parents, John and Lynn Hall, and her pug, Olivia. She has been dancing for 17 years and has been teaching at Salem County Dance and Cheer for three years.
She studied dance at the Mid-Atlantic Ballet Company in Newark, DE, and with the Academy of Performing Arts, in Woodstown. Her performances include: Magic Music Days in Walt Disney World, Stars at Sea with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Toy Shop production at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington DE, the Delaware Dance Festival, and half-time performance at the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Fl. She has also cheered for Pennsville Midget Football Association, Pennsville H.S. Varsity Cheer Squad, LaSalle University Co-ed Cheer Squad, and Wilmington College.
Miss Monika graduated from Pennsville Memorial high school and is currently pursuing a Liberal Arts degree in Elementary/Special Education from Wilmington College. She has been active in the lives of many children in her community by teaching at Christian Playcare Center in Deptford NJ, Penn Terrace Apartments (Lifeguard) in Pennsville NJ, and Small Wonders Preschool in Pennsville NJ.
Deanna Gatanis, Instructor

Deanna Gatanis is a 2008 graduate of Richard Stockton College of NJ with a B.A. in Dance. She began her training at the age of three studying many forms of dance. In her second year of college, Deanna’s modern choreography was chosen to be performed at the American College Dance Festival Association in San Francisco. Now Deanna is a full time dance and aerobics instructor in Gloucester and Atlantic Counties and the Philadelphia region. She is currently a Salsa instructor at the Showboat Casino with her partner and also teaches a Salsa program in Hammonton, NJ. This past summer Deanna was also certified in Zumba- a poplar Latin aerobics class. As a first year teacher at Salem County Dance and Cheer, she is very excited to be a new member of the studio. Deanna teaches the Gym/Cheer, Hip-Hop, and Modern classes for Salem County and looks forward to working with all her new students. In Deanna’s spare time she finds herself traveling as a magician’s assistant for Anthony Salazar or dancing at various functions as a motivational dancer.
Dana Mae Gayner, Musical Theatre Instructor
Soprano Dana Mae Gayner began her study of singing at the age of 9 with Kate Madole in Salem, NJ. During high school at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, MD, she continued her vocal study with Libby Pennacchia and appeared in numerous plays and musicals, including Pippin, Dancing at Lughnasa, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The House of Blue Leaves, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and The Bald Soprano. Locally, she appeared with Oakwood Summer Theater in Winnie the Pooh, The Sound of Music, and Charlotte’s Web. During those 4 years, she also furthered her dance education with a comprehensive class that included units in modern dance, ballet, jazz, and African dance.
During college and after graduation, Dana Mae studied with soprano Faith Esham. She graduated in December, 2003, from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree. During the summer of 2003, Dana Mae began working as a private voice instructor, both at her private studio in Salem, and for the Mannington Music School in Salem, NJ. From 2004-2006, she taught voice at Dance Inc., Center for the Fine and Performing Arts in Sicklerville, NJ, and in the fall of 2009, she began teaching a musical theater dance class at the Salem County Dance and Cheer in Salem, NJ.
Dana Mae has continued her education through seminars offered at Westminster Choir College. She credits many of her philosophies about teaching to Dr. Scott McCoy’s classes “Your Voice: An Inside View, Singer’s Anatomy” and “Your Voice: An Inside View, Acoustics and Voice Analysis,” Dr. Christopher Arneson’s course “Repertoire for the Developing Singer,” Claudia Catania’s “Musical Theater for the Classical Teacher” and “Broadway Makes You Better,” Dalcroze Eurythimics with Dr. Thomas Parente, and Alexander Technique with Barbara Conable. For 2 years, Dana Mae continued studying Alexander Technique privately with Celeste Kelly.
Recent stage appearances include Anna in The King and I with Oakwood Summer Theater, the First Spirit in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Della Dillingham in The Gifts of the Magi with Arden Club Theatre, and opera chorus in Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet with Center City Opera Theater in Philadelphia.
In addition to her experience on stage with theater and opera, and her solo vocal and choral experience, Dana Mae offers her students a large knowledge of foreign languages. She is conversant in French and can also coach students in singing in Italian and German. Dana Mae currently teaches French at Woodland Country Day School to students from Pre-K 3 to 3rd grade.
Pamela Gray, Acting Coach
Pamela Gray was born and raised in Salem County NJ. After High School she attended Clark Atlanta University where she received her B.A. in Theater Arts. Pamela also studied with many of Broadway's best during college as an apprentice in the Broadway Theater Project; after which she landed a professional acting gig with Atlanta's premiere EN-ACTE Repertory company where she performed around the east coast for three and half years. Pamela enjoys helping young actors learn more about acting basics and develop their talents. She is excited about working with the students of SCDC as well as anyone in the community who wishes to learns more about acting, or sharpen their skills. Group Classes offered.
Private lessons/coaching is an option recommended for those who who desire and intensive growth.
